We are excited to report that the first organization that has received a grant is Global Hope Mobilization. It is based outside of Lilongwe, Malawi, and works toward sustainable development. They seek organic, positive change, focusing on the areas of climate change, environmental responsibility, sexual health, and provision of health care to medically underserved Malawians.
Their project is the construction of a borehole near a primary school in the town of Nkhukwa. Taken recently are these photos that show Ministry of Water and Development surveyors. Drilling for the borehole began last Friday. We will be updating everyone as this project progresses!
